NRP Nationwide – Terms and Conditions

Effective from: 20-06-2025
By placing an order with NRP Nationwide, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1.Custom-Made Products & Refund Policy

All number plates sold by NRP Nationwide are custom-made to your specifications and are therefore non-refundable, except under the following conditions:
•Refunds are only available if the product is found to have a manufacturing defect within 7 days of delivery or collection.
•Replacements are offered if a product fails due to a manufacturing defect within 6 months of your order date, or if damaged during transit (see Section 2).
•If you choose to replace a faulty item, a £4.99 delivery fee will apply.
NRP Nationwide’s liability is strictly limited to the cost of the defective product and does not cover any claims for loss, additional expenses, or interest on payments.
 

2.Damaged Goods & Transit Policy

If your goods arrive damaged in transit, we will replace them free of charge, provided that:
•You email photographic evidence of the damage to info@nrpnationwide.co.uk
•You notify us within 48 hours of receiving the package.
•If packaging is visibly damaged upon arrival, please do not accept delivery and contact us immediately.
All number plates are thoroughly quality-checked before dispatch and are manufactured in accordance with BSAU 145e standards.

3.Customer Responsibility

When placing an order through our website, you are fully responsible for:
•Ensuring that your registration number, spacing, and address are entered accurately.
•Verifying the legality of your plate design, including font, size, and spacing (for road-legal use).

We will do our best to help, but cannot guarantee changes once production has started.
NRP Nationwide is not obliged to replace or refund orders where incorrect information was provided by the customer.

4.Road Legal Plates – Required Documentation

To purchase road-legal number plates, you must upload or provide:
Proof of Entitlement (one of the following):
•V5C Logbook
•Retention Certificate (V778)
•V750 Certificate of Entitlement
•Insurance Certificate
Personal Identification (one of the following):
•Driving Licence
•Passport
•National ID Card
•Recent Utility Bill or Bank Statement (dated within 3 months)
We are legally required to retain copies of these documents for record-keeping and compliance.

5.What We Sell

NRP Nationwide does not sell personalised registration numbers. We only manufacture replacement number plates for registrations you already own.

When purchasing from us, you are buying physical plates, not the rights to a registration number. Please ensure you are the legal owner or keeper of the registration number you supply.

6.Road Legal vs Off-Road Plates

We manufacture both road-legal and off-road/show plates. It is your responsibility to:
•Ensure that your road-legal plate meets UK legal requirements (as shown on our website).
•Understand that off-road plates are not for use on public roads.
NRP Nationwide accepts no liability for misuse of off-road plates on UK roads. If you’re unsure about the legality of your design, please contact us before ordering.

7.Legal Compliance & Record Keeping

All plates are manufactured in Ireland, shipped to our UK distributor, and then dispatched to you via Royal Mail.

We keep full records of every transaction, including customer data and plate designs. NRP Nationwide will fully cooperate with law enforcement in the event of any investigation involving misuse of number plates.
