NRP Nationwide – Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed with NRP NationWide through our website, https://nrpnationwide.co.uk/. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Custom-Made Products, Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Our number plates are manufactured to the specifications provided by the customer, including the registration number, plate size, style and selected options.
Because number plates are custom-made, the usual right to cancel an online order may not apply where the product is made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, as permitted by applicable consumer law.
However, this does not affect your statutory rights. If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of applicable consumer law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you experience a problem with your order. We may ask for photographs or other reasonable evidence to help us assess the issue.
Where a manufacturing defect is covered by our product warranty, we will assess the claim and arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with the warranty terms and your statutory rights.
Any delivery charges associated with a remedy will be handled in accordance with applicable law. We will not charge customers for exercising a statutory right where such a charge is prohibited.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
2. Damaged Goods and Delivery Issues
We take care to check orders before dispatch. If your order arrives damaged or you believe an item has been damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
To help us investigate, please provide:
Your order number.
Clear photographs of the damaged product.
Photographs of the packaging, where relevant.
A brief description of the damage.
Please email the information to info@nrpnationwide.co.uk.
If the packaging is visibly damaged upon delivery, we recommend photographing it and reporting the issue to the delivery provider where appropriate.
We will investigate the matter and arrange a suitable remedy in accordance with our delivery policy and applicable consumer law. Any reporting timeframe we request is intended to help us investigate and does not remove your statutory rights.
Our number plates are manufactured to the applicable requirements for the product ordered, including the relevant British Standard where applicable.
3. Customer Responsibilities
When placing an order, you are responsible for checking that the information you provide is accurate, including:
The vehicle registration number.
The requested spacing and plate layout.
The selected plate size, style, colour and other options.
The delivery address and contact details.
Whether the selected design is suitable for your intended use.
For road-legal plates, you must ensure that the registration and supporting entitlement information are correct and that the plates are intended to meet the applicable legal requirements.
If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us immediately on 07746 620367. We will do our best to help, although changes may not be possible once production has started.
Where an error results from incorrect information supplied by the customer, we will assess the circumstances and any available remedy in accordance with our order terms and applicable law.
Nothing in this section removes any rights you may have where the error is attributable to us.
4 Road-Legal Number Plates and Required Documents
Before supplying road-legal number plates, we must verify the customer’s identity and entitlement to the registration mark in accordance with applicable UK requirements.
Customers will be asked to provide acceptable proof of identity and proof of entitlement to the registration number.
Depending on the circumstances, accepted documents may include:
Proof of entitlement
Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C).
Retention Document (V778).
Certificate of Entitlement (V750).
Other documents accepted under the applicable number plate supplier requirements.
Proof of identity
Driving licence.
Passport.
Other identity documents accepted under the applicable requirements.
Please follow the document instructions provided during the ordering process. We will explain if additional information is required.
We will process and retain verification records only as necessary for our legal obligations and other lawful purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Orders requiring verification may not proceed to production or dispatch until the required checks have been completed.
5. Products We Sell
NRP NationWide manufactures physical replacement number plates for registration numbers that customers are entitled to use.
We do not sell or transfer ownership of personalised registration numbers through the purchase of physical plates.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they are entitled to use the registration number supplied with their order.
6. Road-Legal Plates and Show Plates
We offer road-legal number plates and show plates, subject to the options available on our website.
Road-legal plates: These are intended to comply with applicable UK requirements when manufactured and supplied with the correct registration information and specification. Their lawful use also depends on the vehicle, registration and applicable regulations.
Show plates: These are intended for display or off-road use where they do not meet the requirements for public-road use. They must not be used on public roads unless they independently comply with all applicable legal requirements.
Customers should check the selected product and intended use before ordering. Please contact us if you are unsure which product is suitable.
7. Manufacturing, Processing and Delivery
Our number plates are manufactured in the UK. Orders are dispatched using the delivery service selected or offered at checkout.
Production and dispatch times may depend on the product, order volume and completion of any required identity and entitlement checks.
Where document verification is required, production or dispatch may be delayed until the necessary documents have been received and verified.
Any delivery estimates displayed on our website or at checkout are provided in accordance with the applicable delivery terms. We will communicate any material changes where required.
Nothing in these terms removes any delivery rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.
8. Warranty
Any additional product warranty offered by NRP NationWide applies subject to its stated terms, coverage and exclusions.
Please refer to the warranty information provided for the product you purchase. If you believe a product has a manufacturing defect, contact us with your order number and details of the issue.
Any additional warranty operates alongside your statutory rights and does not replace or restrict them.
9. Privacy and Record Keeping
We process personal information, order information and verification documents in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information may be retained where necessary to fulfil orders, meet legal and regulatory obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and establish or defend legal claims.

10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
Subject to that restriction, we will deal with claims relating to our products and services in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the claim.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
